Restobar Massalia brings the warmth of the Mediterranean to Amsterdam Oost. Located on Beukenplein, the restaurant is the creation of chef-owner Angelo Kremmydas, also known from Gitane. Inspired by the spirit of Marseille, Massalia blends Greek and French influences in both its cuisine and atmosphere. The space feels vibrant and relaxed, with terracotta interiors and a spacious sunny terrace perfect for lunch, drinks or dinner outdoors. The menu features à la carte small plates made for sharing, crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Highlights include sardine schnitzel, BBQ langoustines, octopus terrine, homemade koulouri and salted cod beignets, always accompanied by vegetarian and vegan options. The experience is complemented by a thoughtful wine list with French and Greek selections, natural wines and inventive cocktails.
