De Matroos en het Meisje

De Matroos en het Meisje is one of the restaurants created by Eva Eekman, who is also responsible for Héroine and Putaine. The restaurant is located on the bustling Deliplein in Katendrecht. When you enter, the first thing you notice is the special interior. The walls are decorated with Delft blue tiles, and the tables are covered with red and blue checkered cloths, topped with white paper tablecloths. The sailors and girls from the service are friendly and not at all stiff. The corner restaurant has a cozy and homely atmosphere, with delicious and affordable menus and a very extensive wine list featuring exquisite wines that attract people from far away.
